From Thursday, July 30, to Friday, July 31, 2026, the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS), in cooperation with the National Institute of Special Education, conducted hands-on, in-person training on the use of K-EDU Fine and the National Education Information System (NEIS) for education personnel with visual impairments.
The training was held at the National Institute of Special Education in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.
Participants were divided into groups of screen reader users and users with low vision.
In addition to the existing practical training on K-EDU Fine, the program was expanded to include newly added sessions on using NEIS and experiencing assistive technologies for people with visual impairments.
KERIS continues to provide a range of support measures reflecting feedback from the field, including assigning dedicated support staff, operating a web accessibility advisory committee, and launching new online training courses.
Through these efforts, KERIS is working to create an environment in which all education personnel can access and use its systems without discrimination.
