On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) hosted a roundtable with a high-level education delegation from Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss digital education cooperation between Korea and the region.
During the roundtable, KERIS shared Korea’s progress and major achievements in implementing digital education policies.
Participants also exchanged views on the digital transformation of education in Latin American countries and explored potential areas of cooperation, including artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital education, teacher capacity building, and the use of educational technology (EdTech).
Building on the roundtable, KERIS plans to expand knowledge exchange in digital education with Latin America and the Caribbean and actively work to translate these discussions into substantive cooperation.
