KERIS Signs Integrity Pledge with Senior Officials
- President and Senior Officials Take the Lead in Practicing Ethical Management and Integrity -

The Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS, President Jae Young Chung) signed an integrity pledge on May 29th with its newly appointed President and senior officials (division heads) to establish an ethical management culture and spread the will for integrity.
The integrity pledge outlines the duties of integrity that senior officials must uphold during their tenure and their responsibilities for violations.
Specifically, it includes ▲ understanding and complying with laws and regulations related to integrity, ▲ taking the lead in ethical and integrity management and efforts to prevent ethical risks, ▲ accepting responsibility for violations of ethical and integrity obligations, and ▲ strengthening management and supervision to ensure ethical and integrity obligations are upheld by all members of the organization.
Notably, this integrity pledge disseminates the commitment to the integrity of the newly appointed President Chung in May, both internally and externally. As the executive management of a public institution, it reflects the will of the head and senior officials to uphold high standards of integrity and morality and strengthen ethical leadership.
KERIS President Jae Young Chung stated, "The management will take the lead in performing duties fairly and with integrity, and spearhead the establishment of an ethical management culture, allowing KERIS to be reborn as an institution that earns greater public trust and affection."
