Korea Education and Research Information Service Welcomes 12th President Jae Young Chung

- To Successfully Introduce AI-based Personalized Education System for Individual Students -

On May 13th, the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) held an inauguration ceremony for Dr. Jae Young Chung, the 12th newly appointed president, at the KERIS Building.

In his inauguration speech, President Jae Young Chung stated, "We will successfully introduce an AI-based personalized education system in schools, realizing a digital classroom revolution that fosters the dreams and talents of each student." He added, "Teachers will always be at the center of digital education."

During his three-year term, the new President Chung will spearhead various national digital education projects ranging from kindergartens to universities.

In particular, he plans to do his utmost to ensure the successful launch of the AI Digital Textbooks next year, a key initiative of the Ministry of Education.
