KERIS Holds 'Integrity Practice Pledge Ceremony'

- Pledging to Establish an Ethical and Fair Organizational Culture and Internalize Integrity -

As part of its commitment to become a leading institution in ethical management and gain public trust, the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) held the 2024 Integrity Practice Pledge Ceremony.

The event, held on the 23rd, was attended by KERIS headquarters staff, including Acting President Myung-ho Shin. Participants pledged to build an ethical and fair organizational culture and internalize integrity among employees, declaring this commitment both internally and externally.

In March, KERIS held an integrity practice idea contest for all employees to promote an ethical organizational culture. Based on the selected outstanding ideas, KERIS newly established the 2024 KERIS Integrity Practice Pledge and Code of Conduct.

The 2024 KERIS Integrity Practice Pledge consists of three promises to practice (3 GOs) and three promises to eliminate (3 STOPs). The 3 GOs are ethical work performance, equal mutual cooperation, and bold, proactive administration. The 3 STOPs are illegal budget execution, improper acceptance of money and valuables, and unfair shifting of duties.

Myung-ho Shin, Acting President of KERIS, stated, "Through the establishment and declaration of the Integrity Practice Pledge, we will foster a culture of integrity in our daily lives and continuously grow as a KERIS that earns public trust with fairness and integrity as our banner."
